Il Ghiro is a historic house from the eighteenth century located in the heart of the Apuan Alps Park in Volegno. Perfect for hosting from 2 to 4 people, the house is surrounded by greenery and enjoys a sunny position with a splendid view of the village of Pruno and the majestic mountains of the park.

Ideal for trekking lovers, the house is surrounded by paths which lead to destinations such as Mosceta, Pania della Croce, Monte Forato and the Cascata dell'Acqua Pendente. In just 30 minutes by car, you can reach the famous beaches of Versilia.

Inside of Il Ghiro it consists of a full kitchen with a wood-burning fireplace and a living area with a sofa bed, TV and bathroom on the upper floor. Heating is provided by a hydro pellet stove that powers the radiators in all rooms. The bedroom, with a double bed, is equipped with a desk for those who need a work corner.

Outside, guests can relax in the private panoramic terrace or in the area equipped with table, bench, deckchair and wood oven, perfect for barbecues. The outdoor area is completely fenced, ideal for those traveling with pets.

Access to the house is via a short flat path of about 100 meters. The location of the house makes it a perfect choice for those seeking tranquility and nature, while remaining a short distance from cities such as Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Lucca, Pisa and the Cinque Terre.
